Expanding Market Opportunities for Growers
The Advancing Markets for Producers (AMP) Grant program is intended to advance and expand market access for U.S. growers using sustainable and regenerative practices through marketing and value chain development.
This program is designed to get funding directly into growers' hands with minimal reporting requirements.
SCI’s Partner Programs:

Elevated Foods (Arkansas, Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Missouri, Mississippi, South Carolina, Tennessee, & the Navajo Nation)
Growing GRASS (National)
Rodale Institute Farm Fund (Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands)
AMP offers funding for activities such as:
Production expansion
Practice implementation
Certification, verification, and audits
Brand Development, Marketing, and Storytelling
On-farm research
Peer support and training
These programs are administered at a regional level by implementing partners.

Below are a few of the partner programs that SCI works with and recommends as potential funding administrators for growers interested in pursuing an AMP grant.

Who's it For? Northeast growers in any cropping system who are interested in certification, value added production, or advancing regenerative practices.
Eligible States: ME, NH, VT, MA, RI, NY, CT
Total grant funds available: Wolfe's Neck Center will deliver approximately $21.9 million to farmers in the Northeast between 2026 and 2028.
Eligible Cropping Systems: Not specified
Covered Activities: Expanded production of regenerative products, certification and verification, brand development.
Maximum Award Amount: $50,000

What is the application deadline? Applications are open October 1 - 14, 2026. If an application is not accepted during the open enrollment period, the application may be considered in future enrollment periods, depending on funding availability and program capacity.

Who's it for? Growers in some Southern states growing fruits and vegetables who are interested in implementing regenerative production practices including no- and reduced-till, nutrient management, and soil carbon amendment activities.
Eligible States: AR, AZ, CA, FL, GA, KY, MO, MS, SC, TN & the Navajo Nation.
Total Grant Funds Available: Unspecified
Eligible Cropping Systems: fruits and vegetables
Covered Activities: Elevated Foods’ AMP grant program requires growers to do at least one conservation practice (cover cropping, reduced tillage, NRCS-approved nutrient management, soil carbon amendment, or field borders), soil samples, and provide Elevated Foods data twice per year.
Maximum Award Amount: $10,00 per year over three contract years, + $250/acre

Who's it for? Growers in some eligible states interested in support for certification, marketing and certain practice implementation activities.
Eligible States: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia
Total grant funds available: Unspecified
Eligible Cropping Systems: Unspecified
Covered Activities: Implementation of NRCS practices, including equipment purchases, well installation and irrigation. Tunnel grant assistance for purchase and installation of a new high tunnel. Well installation and irrigation systems. Assistance with expanding markets through educational resources and training, and promotion of commodities grown under conservation practices. Assistance with helping farmers transition to organic agriculture or increasing conservation production on their farms.
Maximum Award Amount: This program offers various awards depending on activity:
Regenerative Practices: $2,500 per acre, 1-year contract, 10-acre maximum
Expanding Markets: Up to $25,000 per farm, 6-month contract
Well Installation and Irrigation Systems: Up to $30,000 per farm, 1-year contract
High Tunnel purchase: Up to $25,000 per farm, 6-month contract
Organic Transition: Up to $25,000 per farm, 1-year contract
