Soil & Climate Initiative (SCI) is a nonprofit working to build markets and other payment opportunities for farmers building soil health. Putting your acres into our network means we know you’re interested in these opportunities when they materialize.
Signing up for the network means:
You will be in SCI's pipeline as we continue our work to get farmers paid, whether that's through buyers or through ecosystem services. That means that if SCI lands an opportunity the network members are first to be considered.
You're invited to an (optional) monthly Office Hour where we have a topic de jour that is always meant to be relevant to on-farm adoption.
You'll receive our monthly newsletter, The Dirt, which shares resources, opportunities, and information as our work develops.
Being a part of SCI is a low lift way to connect in with our resources and other like-minded farmers and ranchers. And "raise your hand" as a grower interested in getting compensated for using conservation practices.
